APPLY FOR A GRANT

Here at Big Joy Foundation, we’re committed to investing our expertise and resources in organizations that align with our goal: to spread joy through faith, hope and love.

Big Joy favors proposals that are carefully conceived, with clear and compelling outcomes. Particular consideration is given for projects that will make a tangible difference, and may not come to fruition without the kind of help provided by Big Joy.

Most of our recent grants have been awarded to organizations for specific, standalone projects that require special funding to bring them to reality. We tend to choose one-time projects that need a special gift in order to make them possible.

Grant submissions are prioritized according to the following criteria:

  1. Projects that directly serve children or youth

  2. Stand-alone projects, as opposed to ongoing general operations

  3. Tangible, durable projects that provide usefulness for years to come

We review applications once a quarter, so for timely review, it's advised you get your application in by the following rolling due dates:

  • Feb. 1May 1Aug. 1Nov. 1

To be most successful in the grant application, be sure to read "Our Focus" page. Then, download the application below.

“It only takes a spark to get a fire going.

And soon all those around can warm up in its glowing;

That’s how it is with God’s love,

Once you’ve experienced it,

You spread his love to everyone

You want to pass it on.”
