Where we focus our giving
Big Joy Foundation provides grants and support to 501c3 non-profit organizations that promote faith, hope and love. Big Joy gives to US-based organizations that support both domestic and international efforts.

Grant Submissions are prioritized according to the following criteria:
1) Projects that directly serve children or youth
2) Stand-alone projects, not funds for ongoing general operations
3) Tangible, durable projects that provide usefulness for years to come
HUMAN SERVICES
Big Joy Foundation supports work with disadvantaged and vulnerable populations, such as those in extreme poverty, or with disabilities, or in at-risk situations. Big Joy cares for orphans, and people without clean water or adequate medical care.
SPIRITUAL ENRICHMENT
Big Joy has a special interest in helping people to grow in authentic relationship with God. This may be pursued through in-person ministries, published and digital works, and special projects.
ARTS AND CULTURE
Big Joy’s founders come from media backgrounds, and have an active interest in supporting arts and media that promote faith, hope and love. Such projects may inform and inspire broader audiences to pursue faith, hope and love.
CASE STUDIES OF PREVIOUS GRANTS
Big Joy Foundation’s grant to ServeNow provided funding for the construction of a new school classroom building in Kassanda, Uganda.
This school is part of a network of schools providing quality education for 4,000 children in kindergarten through 8th grade. Most of the children come from poverty and at-risk situations in rural villages.
Hope for the children’s future relies on a quality education, nutritious meals, and a positive future direction.
